San Francisco - Day 3

Unfortunately this will be a pretty short blog, as I didn't do anything very exciting on my third day in San Francisco. After I woke up and had breakfast, I decided I wanted to do a little bit of shopping and so we drove to an outlet. Time passed so quickly and by the time we got out of the mall it was already 5 p.m and the day had flown by. We grabbed some frozen yoghurt and then headed grocery shopping.
We decided to throw some steaks on the BBQ for dinner so we went to Whole Foods Market to get some corn. I don't know if you can relate, but I absolutely LOVE grocery shopping, especially in healthy stores. It just fascinates me - and I want to buy everything!
After that we went home and did our steaks, and that was pretty much it. It was still a great relaxing day, though. I'll have more to show you guys tomorrow so stay tuned! Thanks for reading! <3

San Francisco - Day 2

Hello everyone! Welcome to my travel blogs!
On my second day in San Francisco I felt a lot better concerning jet-lag and was ready to fully explore and get to know the city.
After my morning workout, we had a big, delicious breakfast:

After that, we got ready and dressed and drove off to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately the weather was really bad - it was extremely cold, windy and cloudy. But we still tried to make the best of it.

Afterwards, we went to see the Ocean - so stunningly beautiful.

We drove to the beach as well.

After freezing our butts off, we drove into downtown to grab some Starbucks and warm up and look around the Financial District.
I thought it was so interesting and beautiful - the architechture of the city is amazing and the buildings are absolutely breathtaking.

We then walked up to China Town which was very nice.

Lastly, we drove through Gay Town - such a petty area full of life and amazing people. I absolutely loved it.

In the evening we were all completely famished and decided to try something new - foodwise. So we looked around and finally found this very modern, luxurious burmanese restaurant. I had never heard of Burma before, which made me feel very stupid, but it was like a mix of chinese, indian and thai food - absolutely delicious!
I had grean tea and a tea leaf salad for starters which was so different and exotic. Yum!

As for our main course we picked a few things and decided to share.
On my plate I have Mango chicken, Garlic-noodles, Jasmin rice and Beef Kobat.

I had a very nice second day in this wonderful city and can't wait to discover more of it in the upcoming days.
Thanks so much for reading - I hope you enjoyed!

San Francisco - Day 1

Heeeello everybody!

I am currently in San Francisco! How cool is that, right?! I can't even believe it myself.
So as anounced earlier in my blog, I will be documenting my stay in the US and writing daily travel blogs about it!

Fortunately the place I'm staying at has a gym and outside pool so I started the day with a morning workout and swim. As I'm obsessed with food and know I will be eating a lot here, I decided to keep myself fit by working out every day.

Sports top & pants : H&M

This is the wonderful view I have from my balcony. It's absolutely lovely around here.

Next off, I had a delicious breakfast. mhhhh..

We decided to go see the city so I did my make-up quite nice.

Products I used:
Primer: Catrice Prime and Fine
Concealer: Maybelline FIT ME
Foundation: Max Factor Soft Resistant Make Up
Powder: Catrice Matt Plus
Mascara: Maybelline False lash effect
Palette: Urban Decay NAKED
Brushes: Kabouki, Bronzing-brush, Foundation-brush

As for my outift, I went for a boho-look
Crop-top: H&M
Maxi-skirt: Mango
Necklace: H&M

The first thing I saw right when we entered the city was this incredibly adorable little puppy. It was so cute I almost cried.
That's a frickin' puppy driving a car. I'm dying.

Next on we went to see Lombard and Hyde street which had the most beautiful view. I was so fascinated by the fact that the whole city is just hills going up and down - there's no proper flat area. I found that really cool and different - though I didn't enjoy the walking-up-part that much..

You could see Alcatraz from where we stood

After that we went to Union-Square which was so beautiful and full of life. I absolutely fell in love with this city.

Of course we had to go to Macy's and purchase some bits and bobs, haha.
We stayed and walked around that area for pretty much the end of the day. I had such a wonderful time and really enjoyed myself.

To finish off, we went for dinner and had my all time favourite food - I could literally eat this EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. - sushi.
SO YUMMEH

Last but not least, I decided to have a little haul and show you the things I bought yesterday. I hope you enjoy!

Visiting thy homeland...

Hi everyone!
Welcome to my first travel blog post!

As my parents are both from Romania and I also lived there until I was 3, we fly over to visit our relatives every once in a while. We arrived in Romania on Sunday and were pretty much just on and about meeting everybody and driving around. There wasn't anything interesting enough to take pictures of or talk about up until now, but yesterday we drove to my great-aunt's house and had a nice little barbeque.
I had such a lovely time and took so many pictures - it was really amazing!

We had about a one hour drive and because the countryside areas in Romania aren't the most....modern, let's say, there wasn't really a proper road but more like a 2 meter wide gap in between two million square metres of fields.

My lovely great-aunt and uncle are both over 80 years old and manage to still maintain and take care of their lovely house and garden - which I respect them so much for.
They were both teachers and have been married for over 60 years, sleeping in the same bed every single night. They are my aboslute role models and I am in such awe of them. I love them more than everything.

All in all, a great day.
